Training Overview
The Labs21 Advanced Course: Laboratory Ventilation and Design will explore, in-depth, optimizing laboratory ventilation rates and low-pressure-drop heating, ventilation, air conditioning design, and more. While all are welcome, participants are encouraged to take the Introductory Course or have advanced knowledge of sustainable laboratory design principles prior to taking the Advanced Course. An offering of the Labs21 Introductory Course will take place September 15 in San Jose, California, in conjunction with the Labs21 2008 Annual Conference.

R&D Magazine, in partnership with the International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories (I2SL) will host the Advanced Course. Attendees at their Laboratory Design Conference are eligible to receive a discounted registration fee. In addition to the educational value, the course is worth 6 Professional Development Hours (PDHs) for professional engineers and 6 Continuing Education Credits (CECs) from the American Institute of Architects for registered professionals.
