Training Overview
According to the EPA’s energy report to Congress, data centers account for 1.5% of the total United States’ power consumption. The demand from the data center industry is increasing by 12.5% annually. As a consequence, governmental agencies and utility companies are promoting use of energy efficient datacom equipment and best practices.
Benefits
Data centers have unique design and operational challenges. Learn techniques to deal with:
Extremely high energy density ranging from 50 to 1,000 watts per square foot
Power loads that have a high power factor
Mission critical standing with an increased emphasis on reliability, availability and concurrent maintainability

Workshop Cost and Registration
All attendees are asked to pay for registration to reserve a spot. Registration includes: program materials and lunch.

$100.00 per person for Commercial and Industrial Customers of Cape Light Compact, National Grid (MA, RI and NH), NSTAR, and WMECO.
Cost for all others $150.00 per person
Registration must be done before 1 March, 2010
