Training Overview
The Pumping System Assessment Tool (PSAT) helps pump users assess the efficiency of pumping system operations. PSAT uses achievable pump performance data from Hydraulic Institute standards and motor performance data from the MotorMaster+ database to calculate potential energy and associated cost savings. PSAT was developed for the U.S. Department of Energy and relies on fi eld measurements of fl ow rate, head, and either motor power or current to perform the assessment. PSAT quickly estimates existing pump and motor effi ciency and calculates potential savings.

Workshop Participants will receive the PSAT Tools and Resources CD (including the Pump System Assessment Tool, the MotorMaster Tool*, and BestPractices tip sheets, case studies, and publications); and contact information for people and programs assisting in pump system optimization.
Workshop Cost and Registration
All attendees are asked to pay for registration to reserve a spot. Registration includes: program materials and lunch.

$45.00 per person for Commercial and Industrial Customers of Cape Light Compact, National Grid (MA, RI and NH), NSTAR, and WMECO.
Cost for all others $75.00 per person
