[ Mar 21, 2007 ] 2007 Save Energy Now Solicitation Closes April 13, 2007

Through Save Energy Now, DOE's Industrial Technologies Program (ITP) helps industrial plants operate more efficiently and profitably by identifying ways to reduce energy use in key industrial process systems.

As a key element of Save Energy Now, DOE is sending ESA Energy Experts to the nation's most energy-intensive manufacturing facilities to conduct 250 Energy Savings Assessments. The purpose of the assessments is to identify immediate opportunities to save energy and money, primarily by focusing on energy intensive systems including process heating, steam, pumps, fans and compressed air.

Many companies have benefited from Energy Savings Assessments provided by ESA Energy Experts using DOE software tools and technical information. These assessments continue to yield major bottom-line benefits for these companies. Visit Results to learn more about these past assessments.
