 ine 36\, High-Performance Sequences of Operation for HVAC Systems\, was cr
 eated to develop and maintain best-in-class standardized HVAC control sequ
 ences. This guideline is all about the concept of “less is more.” It a
 llows engineers to reduce engineering time by adapting standard sequences 
 already proven to perform. It minimizes programming and commissioning time
  for contractors. ASHRAE Guideline 36 reduces energy consumption\, cost\, 
 and system downtime with more resilient systems\, control sequence complia
 nce\, and diagnostic software. The guideline also promotes communication b
 etween specifiers\, contractors\, and operators by creating a language of 
 common terms.\n\nThis course introduces the current version of ASHRAE Guid
 eline 36. The discussion will include the research underlying the current 
 sequences and ongoing and planned future research intended to develop addi
 tional advanced sequences for other HVAC system types. In this course\, at
 tendees will learn about the ASHRAE Guideline 36 sequences and how they im
 prove energy efficiency\, thermal comfort\, and indoor air quality. Atten
 dees will also learn how to specify sequences for this guideline.\n\nParti
 cipants may want to purchase a copy of the related publication ASHRAE Guid
 eline 36-2021 -- High-Performance Sequences of Operation for HVAC Systems.
 \n\nASHRAE will provide Certificates of Attendance specifying Professional
  Development Hours (PDHs) and Learning Units (LUs) to course participants.
  ASHRAE is an approved Continuing Education provider for the American Inst
 itute of Architects (AIA) and a USGBC Education Partner. Continuing Educat
 ion hours earned from ASHRAE courses may be applied toward renewal of stat
 e-licensed professionals and maintenance of LEED® professional credential
